My Story
Hello and Wellcome!
I’m Agne, and nothing would make me happier, then people feeling comfortable in creating their home space with ease, confidence, and creativity, no matter the budget. If you learn even just one thing you did not know before or get inspired on my page, then I'll count this whole endeavor a success!
I always loved old things, my childhood home is full of them, but the Aha! moment came when I tried to get an armchair reupholstered some years ago. As it was bloody expensive, in my opinion at the time, I thought to myself, I can do it! And I did! It still stands in my daughter's nursery, imperfections and all 😎
I and my A team live in Hampshire, UK. Yes, all family member's names start with A (it might have been fate 😉). But, I grew up in Lithuania, the land of forests, beautiful lakes, great beer and warm enough sea to enjoy. The year my daughter Amelia was born I think changed a lot for us. We bought a house (we moved in the day before I went to labor… living on the edge..😒), moved to the new city, my husband changed his job, I started making my long thought ideas into reality .... So long story short, here we are.
This is the space for sharing my ideas about DIY, decorating and importantly making things that don’t break the bank and are one of a kind. It is an amazing feeling to sit in your living room and look at the objects that you had a hand in making (or reloving).
Hope we can go through this journey together and make our homes and places more beautiful and inspiring for our families and us!
